It's official

Gay marriage is now legal in Canada.

I don't know why

Whenever I post pictures the screen goes all stretchy.

Locket and Stuff

I sent Brynn her locket, her Mountie bear and a bottle cap today. I walked in the rain.

Not as impressive as walking in minus 40 weather to send out her Christmas present, but dammit! I got wet for her.

I was going through my photobucket

And remembered how hot I think this picture is:

Days of Being Wild

I moved away from Greatest Journal namely because most of my entries had to do with Brynn, and I think in large part it had to do with us being on the same journal site. Or something like that. With this blog, I've tried to steer away from Brynn entries, and so far, I think I've done well. Haven't really written about things that I've wanted to try writing about, but that's okay. There comes a time, however, when my love just must be written about, and that time is now :-)

As I'm sure a lot of you know, Brynn and I had been having some issues as of late. We weren't really talking, and we were both scared that the other was just going to up and leave. It didn't happen- we toughed it out, and on the 5th, I went down to California to visit her. Just laying eyes on her, without even saying a word, I just knew that things were going to be okay. We didn't end up talking about anything at all really, but it just felt right. I think subconciously, we know in our minds what needs to be done, and I think we're working on it, whether it's apparent or not. I think it's a testament to how much we really do love each other. I've been back for almost a week, and it seems like things are better than they have ever been. We're both much more affectionate with each other, we're having a good time talking to each other again. It's fantastic.

I think what also helps is the fact that I'm going to be down there by next fall at the latest, and in school and doing something with my life instead of just work and computer and video games. I'm happy with that, and I'm excited about it, and I hope I can get all that stuff worked out ASAP. I need to talk to Dad about some things, but he's outta town until late tonight I think. Whatever happens, I'm gunna be there soonish, and that makes the two of us happy.

All in all, things look to be shaping up.

Myanmar, ink blots, leaving home

About 1,350 prisoners of conscience are being held in Myanmar- sign this petition and try to help set them free.

I got tattooed yesterday- pictures to come.
I fly back to Calgary tomorrow- don't remind me.

Read Matt Good's and Raymi's most recent blog entries- Matt's for his sincerity and honestly, and Raymi because she wrote a kick ass song.

And there's a naked picture of her.

As I'm sure some (most) of you know, I'm in California at the time being, and so far so good. Brynn and I are having a lot of fun, even though she's being lazy and sleeping right now :P It's been raining the last couple days, but it's still pretty damn warm as compared to what I'm used to for the time of year, so no complaints. I'm just glad to be here with my baby.

I'm not really reading anyone else's blog whilst I'm here, but I'll catch up when I get back to Calgary.

Oh, by the way

I'm gunna be on a plane for California in about 6 hours, so I may or may not update frequently while I'm gone.

I hate

How I tend to hit the save draft button instead of the publish post button and don't realize it.

Went downtown with Wade and Monica today to just putz around. Me and Monica had shirts made at the Rocket. She backed out on the agreement (to get our Nex names on them), but that's okay.

Here are pictures (I should mention I haven't quite figured out how to resize vertical images so they don't look like ass):
