I don't like 10 hour work days

But I do like the money I get paid for them.

I wrote another new song, but I'm too lazy to type it up right now, and instead I'm going to play wrestling.

The bed is complete

Thanks to Drew and Stacy's help.

I am sad about one thing though: no bed posts.

So, about that wine

Probably not happening, because I'm going to BP's in about 10 minutes!

YAY FOR DINNER

I have come to the conclusion

that although Avalanche is not my favorite Matthew Good album, it has 2 of my favorite Matt Good album moments in it:

1)The drum hits at 4:11 of Avalanche
2)The solo/outro of Double Life

I have 2 bottles of wine here now.

Tonight might be fun.

I had another weird dream

It was in a mall. It got attacked by some weird paramilitary force. I felt like shit because I lost Carmela in the scramble. So, because I had military training apparently, took my own kick ass team in and blew the lot of them to hell and saved Carmy.

Wow.

War of the Worlds

Watch it.

I would also like to take this time to thank my lovely friend Kayla who is driving me to driver's ed today. Thanks Kayla.

Apparently Maureen and I would make a cute couple.

Out of boredom, during the next few days I will be tackling the ultimate question

Did life in the Garden of Eden get so boring that eating the apple was justified?

Thoughts on Hold has a new song up- it's kinda depressing.

ATTN GUY WITH SPIKED BRACELET

Thank you for taking a chunk out of my shoulder.

Asshole.

It's 20 degrees out right now

It's near the end of November.

This is fucking sweet.

T-minus 2.5 hours until doors at the Avenged Sevenfold show.

This too, will be fucking sweet.

I thought I had something important to say

But I'm not sure any more.

I've started reading Hegemony or Survival by Noam Chomsky, which is a look at the American policy of global dominance. So far, it's an interesting read. Perhaps it'll provide some sort of focal point for the new blog I've set up.

In the interest of keeping things nice and tidy, and as motivation for myself to actually do this, I've created yet another blog that will be focused on political matters and events abroad, mostly centering around Africa, the Middle East, and probably China, with bits and pieces on American foreign policy and interventions.

I just got this urge, this bug, and I need an outlet.

Maureen looked damn good tonight.

This is fucking astonishing

I had a really fucked up dream last night.

Now I don't wanna sleep ever again

Sunday, November 13, 2005

Wow

Just wow.

I'm calling Jessica now.

I pretty much love

hanging out with Kayla.

I have come to the conclusion

due to a short conversation with my lovely friend Dani, that I'm glad I didn't end up getting involved with Shalene. Turns out she's quite manipulative and likes to say things that aren't true, such as Dean hitting Dani.

Definitely not cool.

David is having some problems with a girl we work with, who is practically obsessed with him. It's kinda creepy. I keep telling him to punch her in the face, but he's not going for it.

City and Colour, the solo album from Alexisonfire's Dallas Green is quite fabulous if you like acoustic stuff.

December 10th is the Amnesty Write for Rights, which is basically a letter writing campaign in Canada. I'm setting up my own little "event", so if anyone is interested in helping out, lemme know. Also, if you haven't done so, please be so kind to check out the 10,000 voices campaign.

I'm gunna go through the old blogs in a couple days and post songs that I like in Thoughts on Hold.

Brynn, seeing as you have the book with most of them written out, if you want any of those songs up in the blog, type 'em up if you have time and email them to me or scan them or something.

That's all for now kids.

Tomorrow is a movie with Kayla, Saturday is drinks with Jess. It'll be a fun weekend.

So Rudd was saying that Lond & McQuade

has a Gibson Thunderbird for sale.

He also said when he was there it was on sale.

It might still be.

Guess who doesn't eat for a month or two.

I got the

"we'd be better as friends" today.

Oh well.

She might actually be right.

Thoughts on Hold is updated with 3 new songs- if there is enough demand, perhaps I'll start up another new blog that details my inspiration and own thoughts on the songs.

So lemme tell you about this last week

It's pretty much been awesome.

The Edmonton trip was a lot of fun, despite the fact that I slept for a whopping 2 hours, drank a lot, spent time in the hospital (I wasn't the one admitted LOL) and had to deal with some pricks.

Meeting Courtney was absolutely awesome- she's such a cute and sweet and bubbly girl and just a whole lot of fun to be around.

Kylie and Nick were also great, albeit a little quiet, but I take some of the blame for that. I owe you both ice cream.

I didn't get to go to the Matt Good shows there, which kinda sucks, but Tuesday's show made up for it. The set he played was a musical orgasm, like I said when I posted it, but that night was great for more than that. I got to go with a sweet girl. Her name is Shalene and I think she has my socks. She's just so awesome and fun to be around and I hope she's not too pissed off that I woke her up this afternoon.

We met downtown and had a quick bite to eat, and just chatted the whole time, then went to the show where we got a little cozy during the sets, then made it back to Dean's house after and talked a bit on the bus ride there, but mostly just chilled out, and it was just awesome.

Hopefully next week I'll get to go see her again. I'm twitterpated.

In the next couple days expect Thoughts on Hold to get updated a few times- I wrote 2 songs and am almost finished another one, plus I'm gunna start writing a couple of satirical bits- one on the end of the world and one on the need to fit in (Courtney gave me that idea).

So that's the lowdown.
